BayNVC - Bay Area Nonviolent Communication
Safer CommunitiesThis project includes the work done by the Restorative Justice Project at San Quentin and other area prisons and jails. It also includes outreach and training offered to various domestic violence groups in Mendocino, Sonoma, Alameda and Santa Clara Counties.In 2006, we plan to grow this project to include support for 'returnees'-formerly incarcerated people returning to communities-in 2006. We also hope to begin working more intensely next year with first-time offenders, to offer training and support.
