Watch the Conflict Hotline Trailer:
Berkeley Community Television broadcast 22 episodes of the Conflict Hotline, a monthly television show featuring Miki Kashtan and other BayNVC trainers. A Conflict Coach, usually Miki, guided the other trainers through role-plays in order to support callers and other viewers in learning about using NVC for resolving conflicts and for healing. Previously the show was broadcast on KPFA radio. Many people have found this to be an exciting way to bring NVC alive for viewers.
Status of the Conflict Hotline
Our last Conflict Hotline episode was taped in June 2011 and we announced a summer break, with the intention of resuming in the fall. Now that break has extended into a permanent hiatus, given that the producer and director, Lou Zweier, is no longer able to continue to do this work on a volunteer basis and we don't have any budget for this show.
We are deeply grateful to Lou Zweier and to the many people who have supported this project as cast and as crew. Their tremendous contributions have made the Conflict Hotline possible. For descriptions of the 22 episodes with links to the videos go here, or go straight to the videos here. The episodes have been collectively viewed over 20,000 times.
We are hoping to find ways to reach an even wider audience when the show returns.
If you are experienced in media production or promotion, and have ideas or resources to offer to make this program a much bigger success, feel free to write to firstname.lastname@example.org.
