Full directions are here, on the church's website. We recomment that you use these directions, and not MapQuest, since people using MapQuest have sometimes gotten lost coming to our events.

The church is on the southeast shore of Lake Merritt, in a domed building overlooking the lake. It has 2 entrances: One on Lakeshore between 12th & 14th Streets, the other entrance is at 1255 First Ave, near 14th Street.

Public Transportation
Given the limited parking close to the Lake Merritt Church, we recommend that you get there by public transportation. Public transportation directions are here.

Parking
Parking is very limited near the church and on Lakeshore Ave (mostly 2 hr limited during daytime). Some all-day parking is allowed on streets north and east of the church: Foothill Blvd, E. 15^th Street, E 14^th Street, International Blvd, 2^nd Ave, 3^rd Ave. To get to those streets, turn left on E 18^th, then first right on 2^nd to Foothill. Please beware of parking restrictions some hours per week, and that some parts of those streets only allow 2 hr parking. All these streets are a few blocks away from the church, so please allow enough time to park and walk to the church. You can enter the church on 1255 First Ave.
