Our goal is to strengthen our NVC skills, offer and receive empathy, and build connection with other men. We have chosen the strategy of a men's group in order meet needs for acceptance, safety and companionship.
We are self-led, using a standing agenda: check-ins, empathy for those who request it, and a debriefing session (to meet needs for learning).
We meet in North Oakland every first and third Monday 7:30-9:15pm. No financial contributions are collected at this group; if participants would like to make a financial contribution, they are encouraged to give directly to BayNVC.
We request that all who attend come with a basic knowledge of and an intention to use NVC. Completion of an NVC Foundations class, or equivalent, is preferred.
