Donations: There is no charge for this group. It's most important to me that participants donate only what they can afford, and in such a way that they experience the joy of giving, so donations are anonymous. The traditional requested amount for a practice group is $35. Once a month we will collectively decide what we want to do with the donations we have collected.
So looking forward to practicing with you!

Time: 7:00pm - 9:30pm Description:
I welcome all skill levels. Usually about 4-8 folks attend. I give a lot of coaching to support learning both for newcomers to NVC and for those who have been studying for a while.
My practice group is half an hour longer than others because I like to foster community connection by having 3-5 minute check-ins for each person. After check-ins we use someone's real life issue to practice giving and receiving empathy. We also do role-plays to practice expressing in NVC. After we work together as a group,we pair off into one-on-one empathy sessions. There's usually a lot of laughter, sometimes tears. Most feel very safe and cared for. We end with short check-outs and a closing circle.
LENDING LIBRARY: I bring books, videotapes, DVDs and CDs for people to borrow if they intend to come again.
$50-$25 sliding scale. I ask that those who are financially more well off pay at the higher end of the scale so that I can make this work available to those who are less so (and still take care of myself while doing this work). Please only pay what you would joyfully contribute. I don't want anyone not to come because of money issues.
I invite you to drop in and see what you think! :-) I've been studying NVC for 13 years and teaching it for 10; please let me know if you'd like testimonials or references.
Before you come the first time, I'd like to give you a 30 minute overview of what kind of coaching you'd get in the practice group. This can be in person at 6:30pm before the group or on the phone sometime.
Time: 10:30am - 12:30pm Description:

Time: 8:30pm - 6:30am Description:
This group is about practicing NVC as well as covering NVC basics. While it's helpful to have taken an NVC intro or read Marshal Rosenberg's book, everyone is welcome independent from their level of experience. Every 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month. Contact: Nora, 310-902-2106
Time: 6:30pm - 8:30pm Description:
Looking for a couple new members interested in a long-term commitment. This longstanding group of 10 NVC practitioners starts with a check in, moves into empathy practice, and spends some time on occasion learning NVC concepts. We learn from events/issues brought to the group by participants, and also work with feelings and needs arising in the moment.
Please contact Barbara for more info: bkochan at pacbell dot net. or call weekdays: (415) 392-6200
Time: 7:00pm - 9:00pm Description:
I'm facilitating a practice group hoping to meet needs for learning, empathy, community support and growth of those who attend. There are people of very different levels in the group and so far I've heard that needs have been met for all involved.
I have completed BayNVC's year-long Leadership Intensive twice, and assisted in the 2005 program.
Thank you and Blessings on your growth,
Jake Birnberg

Time: 7:00pm - 9:00pm Description:
We welcome all NVC practitioners who wish to deepen into NVC consciousness.
We work with material brought to the group by participants, and also work with feelings and needs arising in the moment. Our approach to practice is flexible, and new suggestions from participants are welcome.
Please drop in and see whether the group might meet your needs. If you would like to hear anything from current members of the group let me know.

Donation: I welcome financial support to help me in spreading NVC consciousness through my work, but I never want anyone to stay away because they cannot make a financial contribution. It's most important to me that participants donate only what they can afford and enjoy giving. My suggested contribution is $35, and I have actually received a wide range of contributions from zero upwards.
Time: 7:00pm - 9:00pm Description:
Time: 7:00pm - 9:00pm Description:
Every alternate Wednesday evening 7-9pm we meet with peers for empathy in SEBASTOPOL. We rotate the facilitator role so everyone gets a chance to track the group. Call Laurie Ruben for directions (707) 829-7950.
Time: 7:00pm - 8:00pm Description:
One Hour On-going practice group. Facilitated by Mair Alight, CNVC Certified Trainer. All Levels welcome. Requested donation of $40-$60 per month.
Time: 6:00pm - 8:00pm Description:
In this group we will develop our ability to listen and respond empathically to others. We will do this through dialogue, role play, and learning exercises. The group follows what is alive in the moment, rather than a strict agenda, so the experience will be dynamic and energetic.
Only a basic understanding of NVC principles is required to truly benefit from this group. If you are not sure if you are ready, give me a call and we can decide together.

NVC, practice group, every Sunday, 4:00 to 6:00pm in concord,at a private home. Very quiet, comfortable enviroment. We focus a great deal on needs. What are needs and more important, what, exactly are mine? How can I meet them? It's questions like these that will be answered, definitively. Also, we explore when to have empathy for self and others. Making request in a way that is agreeable or even joyful for eveyone. Expect fun and laughter while learning this wonderful philosophy. The brain is more efficient, more receptive in a joyful/peaceful state. Feel free to call for more information/details.
